The papers consist chiefly of stock certificates and bonds. There are also two book reviews of Alexander F. Robertson's book on Alexander H.H. Stuart; a copy of John F. Farish's will together with a review of an appellate court decision and a referee report about a trust fund established by the will; and a letter 1890 May 10, Richmond, from Hunter Holmes McGuire to Alexander Hugh Holmes Stuart concerning some money to be lent for investment at 6% interest.
